Preferred starting date would be February 15th, 2012.
Job description
As project consultant you will manage tasks in the field of climate projects in developing countries related to Montreal and Kyoto Protocol. You will advise our clients towards the related topics.
Your main tasks will comprise:
• Emissions-monitoring of ongoing projects
• Modeling of development of F-gas demand and emissions on sectoral, national and global level and corresponding reduction scenarios
• Climate indicator development
• Design of MRV-regimes tailor made to F-gas consuming sectors
• Consulting service and controlling of F-gas inventory building in selected developing countries
• Project monitoring, process development
Qualifications
• Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Access, VBA
• Basic technical understanding of mechanical and environmental engineering issues
• Experience in working with emissions monitoring or comparable modeling experiences
• University degree with 3-4 years of related work experience
• Consulting experience as well as knowledge in the field of climate change and Montreal Protocol would be an asset
• Flexibility
• Ability to work independently
• Intercultural and networking skills
• Willingness to travel
• Fluent in English, further languages an asset
